Als neuartige Lösung zur Finanzierung von Sanierungen und Neubauten beseitigt die immobiliengebundene Finanzierung (Property Linked Finance, PLF) strukturelle Investitionshemmnisse. Aufbauend auf dem Erfolg von PACE in den USA hat das Green Finance Institute mit Sitz in UK ein globales Programm ins Leben gerufen, um PLF in neue Märkte zu bringen. Im Webinar wird der Nutzen von PLF erläutert, ein Vergleich mit herkömmlichen Finanzierungsformen gezogen und die Chancen für den deutschen Immobiliensektor aufgezeigt.

Ziel der Veranstaltung und Agenda

Background

A novel solution to fund retrofit & construction, property linked finance (PLF) addresses structural barriers to investment. Based on the success of PACE in the US, the Green Finance Institute has built a global programme to bring PLF to new markets. Programme Director David Leipziger will discuss the value of PLF, how it compares to traditional financing, and the opportunity for the German real estate sector.

Goal of the event and Agenda

Participants can expect to learn about a new financing mechanism and its applicability to their portfolios. The presentation will cover the fundamental characteristics of PLF, the types of projects it can fund, the ways in which it is beneficial to both lenders and borrowers, and examples of pilot projects in new markets.
